NASCAR’s 2021 Cup Series schedule is out, and it’s a remake that includes some of the biggest changes in decades: essentially five new tracks, the departure of two markets, the first dirt race since 1970.There’s so much to react to, so let’s evaluate each move, ranked in order from the best to the worst:Circuit of the AmericasYesssssssssssssssssssssssssss. NASCAR taking the Cup Series to Circuit of The Americas is a fantastic move. I’ve been to COTA twice and both times walked away thinking it was the nicest racetrack in the United States.If it’s world-class enough for Formula One’s annual trip here, NASCAR will certainly enjoy a visit.
